Twenty-one-year-old Danielle Bradbery is creating a new sound for herself with her latest album, “I Don’t Believe We’ve Met,” which released today.
Bradbery is branching out both in style and as a solo performer with her newest album, “I Don’t Believe We’ve Met.” She can attribute much of her success to her country voice, but her newest hit song, “sway,” shows a blend of pop, R&B, soul and country styles. This song released in October of this year and is the featured single in the new album.
This is her second studio album. Her first one was released when she was sixteen-years-old, so this album is a way for her to express her new identity.
In regards to this release, she said, “Now that I’ve gotten to be more hands-on with my music, there’s some soul and R&B woven into it. Obviously, a lot of music is changing right now, but I didn’t want to do the whole pop-country thing. It kinda bugs me that I have to say that. I was like, ‘Let’s do R&B country!'”
Bradbery began her career after winning season 4 of “The Voice” with her singles, “The Heart of Dixie” and “Young in America.”
Since winning “The Voice,” Danielle Bradbery has been traveling with country superstars, such as Brad Paisley, Thomas Rhett, Brett Eldredge, Hunter Hayes, and Scotty McCreery.
She was nominated for “Performance of the Year” at the 2017 CMT Music Awards for her performance with Thomas Rhett and Nick Jonas, singing “Close.” (Click here to see the other CMT Music Awards Nominations.)
Her upcoming shows begin this Sunday, December 3 through December 14. Tickets are already sold out in Nashville and New York City. For more information about her shows and for tickets, click here.
